First Wedding Dances, Hen-Dos & Corporate Events with MRC DANCE
TO THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE NEWLY ENGAGED…
Congratulations!
Now, how to boost your big day? Learning a first wedding dance is the perfect way to bond with your partner before the big day, relieve some of the stress of planning and enjoy a time to be together! It’ll also give you the confidence you need in-front of your guests to enjoy an intimate dance moment rather than dreading an awkward sway!
“Dear Maisie,
We would like to express our sincere gratitude for everything you have taught us. We really loved our wedding day and were delighted with our first dance. The routine you came up with was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed dancing it at our wedding even though we felt really nervous at the start. You have been very accommodating with every little request since the beginning and it was a great pleasure to work with you. You are enthusiastic, supporting and carry a great vibe which made us love going to your lessons and look forward for the next ones. Dancing has not just positively impacted our dance skills but also our personal growth. We received a lot of compliments from our friends on the choreography and choice of music – they found it very elegant and captivating. Thank you again for being an incredible dance teacher and for sharing your love of dance with us, we couldn’t have chosen a better professional who perfectly matched our personalities.” -Cintia & Matej 2024
So, how to start?
1) Get in touch with Maisie and chat about when your big day is and your first dance song choice/ideas.
On average, it takes couples 5 lessons to learn their routine and feel completely comfortable with it all. The routine will be tailored to you , Maisie’s aim is always to give you confidence for your big day with moves that work for you.
The next step is to make payment and arrange some dates to get you started! It’s usually a good idea to have your first 2/3 lessons closer together to learn the majority of your routine and then use the last couple closer to your wedding as a reminder and an extra confidence boost.
Maisie will be as accommodating as possible to fit around your days and times, it’s fully understandable that life can be busy!
TIP: Need help with your first dance song choice? Here’s some ideas of things to listen out for-
A song that was playing on one of your dates
Lyrics that mean something to you/represent you as a couple
Which mood/vibe? Lively/ intimate/ romantic?
Old school or one from the current charts
